SDGs is an abbreviation for "Sustainable Development Goals". It is an
international goal for 2016 to 2030 that is stated in the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" adopted by the UN member states at the "UN Sustainable Development Summit" held at the UN Headquarters in New York in September 2015. It
consists of 17 goals (major goals) to realize a sustainable world and 169 specific targets to achieve them, and pledges to leave no one behind on the planet. SDGs are universal (universal) goals that not only developing countries but also developed countries themselves are working on, and various efforts are beginning to be made in Japan as well.
