After 5 Years—The Bitchu-Takamatsu “Mahoroba Festival” Returns on October 26, 2025!

We're excited to announce that the long-awaited Mahoroba Festival will be held once again at the historic Bitchu-Takamatsu Castle Ruins—for the first time in 5 years!

Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025

This festival honors the legacy of Lord Shimizu Muneharu, a historic figure deeply connected to the area, and has long been loved as a celebration of local history, culture, and community spirit.

Lord Shimizu Muneharu is remembered as a samurai warlord who bravely defended Bitchu-Takamatsu Castle.
Deeply rooted in local history, he remains a respected figure in the region.
The Mahoroba Festival is also held in his memory and is cherished by the local community.

The decision to bring back this festival is exciting news for both the local community and for us at Inari Kotsu.

As a local company, we feel both proud and grateful to see this beloved tradition return.
Inari Kotsu will be participating as one of the official sponsors of this year’s Mahoroba Festival.

The Bitchu-Takamatsu Castle Ruins are one of the places we feel most closely connected to, and many of our customers live in this very community.

This year, Okayama Sengoku Project will also be involved in the planning and operation, so we’re looking forward to seeing what exciting programs await.

As the event draws closer, we’ll be sharing more details on transportation access and surrounding information here on our blog.

Whether you’re a local or a first-time visitor, we invite you to experience autumn in Bitchu-Takamatsu!
